Anxiety causes the release of the stress hormone cortisol, which encourages fat storage especially around the stomach. This fat then in turn produces more cortisol which encourages more fat storage and so the problem becomes self-perpetuating.
Your body needs to achieve a homeostasis in order for you to successfully lose weight. Using hypnotherapy we can reduce your levels of damaging stress hormones and help to create the correct hormonal balance needed for you to successfully lose weight.

Anxiety can make enjoying peaceful sleep difficult. If you currently are having irregular sleep patterns, then you may find losing weight even more difficult. Your brain does this in order to get you back to your original weight, the weight that it feels you need to be.
